Putnam Hospital Center to Offer Free Breastfeeding Class
On Thursday, February 15th, from 7:30-9pm, the Birthing Center at Putnam Hospital Center will offer a free Breastfeeding Class at the hospital, located at 670 Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel.
This special class will discuss the advantages of breastfeeding for infant and mother and review breastfeeding basics. In addition, it will offer participants information on the physiology of breastfeeding and strategies for success. It is especially helpful for couples who haven't decided how they want to feed their baby.
Class sizes are limited and there is no fee for this course, however, registration is required. To register or for more information about the hospital's expanded series of childbirth IV and parenting classes, please call the Birthing Center at Putnam Hospital Center at 845- 279-5711, Ext. 2517.
