Arrests Made in Fishkill Arson and Murder Case
The New York State Police and the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office announced the arrest of Mark Serrano, age 29 from Fishkill, and Charles Gilleo, age 31 from Hopewell Junction. Both subjects have been charged with Murder 2nd degree in connection with the Morey family murders and were arraigned before Judge Harold Epstein in the Town of Fishkill court and committed to the Dutchess County Jail without bail, pending a return court appearance on Thursday, February 1st.
This investigation would not have been possible without the collaborative effort of several agencies, including the Town of Fishkill Police Department, the Town of East Fishkill Police Department, The Dutchess County Cause and Origin Team, and the following New York State agencies: Office of Fire Prevention and Control, Department of Corrections-Office of the Inspector General, and the Division of Parole.
