Facts and Myths About Coyotes: a Putnam County Land Trust Program
Coyotes! What are the facts and what are the myths? Discover the answers at the Lawlor Building at the intersection of Route 311 and Route 164 in Patterson on Sunday, February 11th at 2pm when Dr. Dan Decker of the Suburban Coyote Study Group presents a program detailing his work studying coyote ecology and behavior.
His project, sponsored by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, aims to gather information that can help avoid human/coyote interactions with negative consequences to both species. There is no fee for this program, which is being co sponsored by the Putnam County Land Trust and the Friends of the Great Swamp. For more information, please contact Beth Herr at 228-5635.
