'Eco-Kids' Are a Dynamic and Inspiring Group
Dear Editor,
As a local environmental educator, it's my joy and privilege to work closely with the students and faculty of both Garrison and Haldane schools. Your article and photograph last week describing the dynamic group of kids and moms who have formed "Eco-Kids" at GUFS portrayed a group that is inspiring the school and community to "go green."
My participation with the group, and as "Captain Recycle", is through the donated services of the Audubon Society at Constitution Marsh, even though I am also the Education Coordinator for the Garrison School Forest. Living in harmony and understanding with the earth is the shared goal of all of these valuable and energized local groups and schools.
