BOCES Nursing Students to be Capped
Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) students from the September June class at Putnam/ Northern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) will be capped on March 9 at 6:30pm in the Tech South amphitheater. Included in this class is Kelly- Ann Riker from Putnam Valley.
The capping event marks the mid-point of the LPN program. The event will include a candle lighting ceremony after which women will receive their nursing caps and men will receive pins, all to acknowledge their commitment to and their success in the LPN program.
