School Business Officials Discuss Proposed State Budget with Reps
Local public school business officials recently met with New York State representatives (from left) Adam Bradley, Greg Ball, Vincent Leibell, and Sandra Galef to discuss the implications of Governor Eliot Spitzer's proposed state budget.
The meeting was held at Putnam/Northern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services, where the business officials meet regularly. "The legislators vowed to fight the Wicks Law and said they're working to make property assessments more equitable," said Kathy Ryan, Croton-Harmon's Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Administration.
