Haldane PTA Afterschool Enrichment Program Seeks Instructors From the Community
Do you have a talent or area of expertise you would enjoy sharing with elementary schoolaged children? If so, the Haldane PTA Enrichment Committee would love to hear from you.
The Enrichment program operates each spring and fall and offers children an opportunity to take a fun class immediately after school right at Haldane. Classes generally run for an hour or an hour and a half and last six to eight weeks. The next session begins in mid- March.
Instructors have included both teachers and involved community members, and previous classes have ranged from the creative arts to chess, languages, environmental explorations and beyond. A small stipend is offered, but the main reward comes from working with the children. New instructors and topics are more than welcomed!
