Marist to Host Basketball Clinic for Kids
The Marist College Red Foxes and Office of Special Services will sponsor the 16th Annual "Kids' Day Out!" on Sunday, February 18, at the James J. McCann Recreation Center. Registration will be held from 11:15am until noon, with the clinic beginning at noon and ending at 3pm.
"Kids' Day Out!" is a one-day developmental basketball clinic designed for children from age 5 through high school. The clinic is an opportunity to spend an afternoon learning the fundamental skills of basketball and will be staffed by players and coaches from Marist's men's and women's basketball teams.
Seating will be available should parents wish to stay. The registration fee of $10 for the first participant and $5 for each additional family member will benefit the Marist College Scholarship for Students with Disabilities.
