Haldane Musicians at Junior High All-County Music Festival
Fourteen Haldane musicians participated in the Putnam County Junior High All-County Music Festival. The All-County Chorus members included sopranos Eva Ally, Tess Dul, Jacquelyn Eschenberg and Sarah DeMattio; alto Ana Ally; and baritones Chris Coleman and John Kearns. They sang "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring", "Hanerot, Halalu", "Whose Garden Was This" and "Kenya Melodies". The Haldane All- County Band participants were flutists Conor MacDonald and David Sternau; alto sax players Alex Schaefer and Quinn Kohut; Justine Neville on trumpet; and trombonists Emma Gibson and Nicholas Casparian. They played "Star Wars, Episode 1, The Phantom Menace", "Ceremony, Chant and Ritual", "Shenandoah" and "Bonds of Unity March". Congratulations to all of the talented musicians and their teachers. Special congratulations to Debbie Contini who served as the Band Chairperson for the entire event.
