Graymoor Series to Discuss Modern Spiritual Masters on Saturdays in Lent
Beginning February 24th, Modern Spiritual Masters, the popular series published by Orbis Books, will be the basis for "Mini-Retreats for Busy People" on the Saturdays of Lent at the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center in Garrison.
Among the "masters" that will be examined are: Brother Roger of Taize, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Mohandus Ghandi, Mother Maria Skobtsova and St. Therese of Lisieux.
Each Saturday's mini-retreat will begin at 9am and end with a Lenten lunch at noon. The program will include a presentation on one of the masters, discussion and mass. Copies of the books will be available at the Graymoor Book & Gift Center. Donation for each session is $15. Pre-registration is requested.
