Registration Reminder for SeniorNet Spring Courses
There will be registration for April, May and June
SeniorNet computer courses sponsored by the Putnam County Office for the Aging,
at The William Koehler Senior Center at 180 Route Six, Mahopac, 
and the Putnam Valley Senior Center at 117 Town Park Lane, Putnam Valley. The Mahopac Center registration is on Wed., March 14, and the Putnam Valley Center registration is Thurs., March 22, 9am-noon at both. Windows XP is used in the courses. The following classes will be held at both the Mahopac and the Putnam Valley Centers:
+#101: Computer Fundamentals: for the computer novice
+#201: Introduction to Word Processing: reviews basic skills and uses MS Word 2002 or 2003
+#202: Intermediate Word Processing: Reinforces #201 skills plus Editing and Formatting
+#301: Internet and Email Basics: "Surfing the Web", fundamentals of sending and responding to mail
+#302: Advanced Internet and Email: Email attachments, internet shopping
The following classes will be given only at the Mahopac center:
+#203: Advanced Word Processing: Tabs, Tables, Page Layout and Mail Merge
+#401 :Customizing Windows XP: Desktop, Taskbar, Start Menu and Quick Launch Toolbar, and Creating Folders
+#700: Digital Cameras: (see the accompanying picture which shows students in the recent Digital Photography Class). This class teaches digital camera control, basic composition, and saving pictures.

instructor. Mahopac and Putnam Valley SeniorNets also offer practice times with
