Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival to Hold Spring Benefit at The Garrison
The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival will hold its 2007 benefit at The Garrison in Garrison, from 5-9pm on Saturday, March 24. The event, "Swinging Shakespeare," is open to the public and tickets are $145 each ($70 is taxdeductible). All proceeds will benefit HVSF and its programs.
The festive evening will include an elegant cocktail buffet prepared by critically-acclaimed Executive Chef Jeff Raider of The Valley Restaurant, the sizzling sounds of the Wendy Martin Quartet, and "specialty cocktails" designed for the Festival by Guest Mixologist Michelle Connolly of the Flatiron Lounge in Manhattan.
The benefit will also include a silent auction featuring many luxury items. A week at a beautiful villa on the Greek island of Paros, a spectacular apartment in Florence, Italy for one week, and fantastic getaway packages including an overnight stay at the Mohonk Mountain House are just a few of the fabulous items that have been donated to the auction by friends and supporters of the Festival.
