Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce Hosts Annual Awards Dinner on March 15 Local leaders and the Guinan family to be honored
The Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual award dinner on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Dutchess Manor Caterers. Networking and cash bar begins at 6 pm, followed by dinner and the awards presentation at 7pm.
The Katie O'Donnell Award of Excellence will be presented to longtime chamber members and business leaders. The Guinan family. This year's Chamber Service Award will be presented to former board members Vinny Tamagna, Camille Linson, and Sam Slinskey. The Philip Baumgarten Memorial Scholarship will be presented to a local high school senior during this year's dinner.
The Innovation in Business Award will be presented this year to honor an organization that drives essential visitor traffic to our area, either through special events, exhibits, community days, hiking events, etc. This year's nominees include: Boscobel/Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Garrison Art Center/Depot Theatre, Manitoga, NYS Trail Conference, Putnam County Historical Society/Foundry School Museum. The Cold Spring Garrison Area Chamber of Commerce was incorporated nearly 100 years ago and represents small business owners, non-profit organizations, and professionals in many fields throughout the Town of Philipstown in Putnam County, New York.
The Chamber membership is always eager to welcome newcomers to our business and networking organization. You can join as a business, a non-profit, or a civic member, or you can volunteer to work on one of our committees or special events. Cost for the awards dinner is $35 for Chamber members/$55 for non members. New businesses to the area or former Chamber members are welcome to join the organization during this event.
