Putnam Hospital Center Auxiliary to Sponsor Free Kids' Day
Building on the enthusiasm and support for last year's firstever event, the PHC Auxiliary is once again reaching out to the community and sponsoring the Second Annual Kids' Day at PHC on Saturday, May 5th, from 12 noon until 4pm.
The free event, which will include fun hands-on demonstrations and displays, will be held primarily indoors, encompassing the hospital's ambulatory surgery lobby, building connector, main hospital lobby and cafeteria areas. The health and safety exhibits will be interspersed with kids' crafts and games and vendors, all designed to encourage healthy lifestyle choices for children, emphasizing good nutrition, exercise and healthy check ups. Food will be available for purchase.
A penny social will be conducted in the cafe, wrapping up what is sure to be an exciting, fun and healthy event. Admission and parking are free.
