Coin Collectors To Meet March in Carmel
The Croton River Numismatic Society of Carmel, a coin club, will hold its next meeting on Tuesday,. March 20, 2007 in the Guideposts cafeteria, 39 Seminary Hill Road in Carmel at 7:30pm. Topics up for discussion at the meeting will be Canadian paper money, Draped Bust Half-Dollars, Indian Head $5 gold coins, seated Liberty quarters and the recent acquisitions of members and guests.
The society continues to offer the free appraisal of coins, paper money and other types of numismatic material either at its meetings or by appointment. More information may be obtained by calling (845) 225-8201. All persons interested in coin collecting are invited to attend.
