Cold Spring has Dire Need for Heffernan, Teagle & Mancari
To the Editor:

When you get comments on the importance of: encouraging "a broader base of participation by local residents," creating and distributing "a Village Newsletter to keep everyone equally informed," and having "a Mayor who will not only listen to those ideas [of the residents] but work hard to implement them," the person to vote for as Mayor is Phil Heffernan.

When you expect to see "earnest effort to bring the government to the people," your vote easily must be for John Teagle as Trustee.

When you note a resolve "to work in the best interest of the village residents," you need to give Ed Mancari a chance as Trustee.

Our Cold Spring Village has dire need of what these three candidates - Phil Heffernan for Mayor, and John Teagle and Ed Mancari, each for Trustee - can contribute. These candidates recognize the importance of keeping this Village intact, of offering greater and more innovative opportunities for the younger residents, of providing for the welfare of all of the residents, of encouraging visitors, of preserving the traditions and environment which are so significantly a part of our Village, and of supporting the kind of gradual development that is appropriate for our tiny, yet extraordinary, one square mile Village.

Voting in the Village elections takes place on March 20, 2007, from noon to 9pm. We need all of our eligible voters to express their right of choice.
