Dutchess Community College Announces Academic Honors
Each semester, Dutchess Community College announces the names of students who have received academic honors. As an expression of its commitment to academic excellence, DCC recognizes superior scholarship by its students several ways, including the President's List, Dean's List, and Academic Citation.
President's List students have earned a CPA of 3.75 or better, with no grade below a C, based on a minimum of 12 academic or degree credits in the semester or semesters in question. Dean's list students have earned a CPA of 3.2 to 3.74. Students receiving Academic Citation have earned a CPA of 3.0 to 3.19.
The following are DCC students in The Putnam County News and Recorder readership area who received academic honors in one of these three categories in the Fall 2006 semester.
