Spring Gala 2007 Benefits Poughkeepsie Day School

On Saturday, March 24, 2007 the Spring Gala 2007: An Auction to Benefit Poughkeepsie Day School will take place at the Dutchess Golf and Country Club, 2628 South Road, Poughkeepsie, from 5:30- 10pm. The annual spring benefit auction includes both live and silent events: art, memorabilia, vacation lodging, dinner and entertainment packages and much more, from the priceless to the affordable.

A sampling of auction items includes: four center orchestra seats for the Broadway smash, Mary Poppins, a baseball signed by former Yankee, David Wells, a five to seven-day stay at a three-bedroom, three-bath home in Paris, four main box seat tickets each month for six months at Yankee Stadium, a dinner prepared at your home by Chef Kazan of The Main Course in New Paltz and items for the home both large and small, jewelry, dinner and entertainment at local venues and many other desirable goods and services.

The $85 per person ticket fee includes a sit-down dinner, drinks, dessert, and entertainment. Tickets and winning auction items are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Founded in 1934, Poughkeepsie Day School enrolls 325 students in grades prekindergarten through grade 12 from 48 communities in the mid-Hudson Valley.
