Laura Campbell Wins Knight of Columbus Regional Free Throw Competion
She will proceed to Downstate Championship
Loretto Council #536 sent 4 representatives to the K of C Regional Free Throw Competition held on Saturday, March 3 at Marlboro High School and only one was able to return home with a victory. Laura Campbell outlasted 8 other girls in the 13 year-old bracket by shooting 18 for 25 and beating her closest competitor by 4 shots. Laura will now compete in the Downstate Championship on Saturday, March 10, which will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School in Shrub Oak. The winners of this competition will become eligible for the NY State Finals being held at West Point in April.
