Congressman John Hall Will Hold "Community Congress" Forum in Wappinger Falls on March 17

Rep. John Hall will hold his next "Community Congress" forum in Wappinger Falls, on Saturday, March 17.

This event, which will be co-hosted by Town of Wappinger Supervisor Joseph Ruggiero, is part of a series of forums around the 19th Congressional District that will allow constituents to address Rep. Hall directly with their ideas and concerns. Hall also expects to give forum attendees an update on his first two-and-half months in Congress and outline his legislative priorities for the Hudson Valley. Hall will also talk about the key House legislation that has been recently passed.

Elected to the U.S. Congress in November, Rep. Hall was appointed to the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee and is serving on its Subcommittee on Aviation and the Subcommittee on Water Resources and the Environment Subcommittee. Hall was also appointed to the House Veterans' Affairs, where he is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs and serves as well on the Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity. Recently, Hall was appointed to the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming.

The "Community Congress" forum meeting is open to the public and all constituents are encouraged to attend. The forum will take place from 11am-12:30pm at the Wappinger Town Hall, Main Meeting Room, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappinger Falls.
