Leaping (and Crawling) Leprechauns!" Stony Kill Farm
Celebrate this green holiday with a family-oriented workshop and outdoor walk entitled "Leaping (and Crawling) Leprechauns!" at Stony Kill Environmental Education Center on Saturday, March 17, at 2pm. A Stony Kill naturalist will lead the group in a hands-on musical presentation about the Hudson Valley's spring amphibians and their incredible life cycles, and then guide a walk to a nearby stream and pond to look for salamanders and frogs that might be emerging for their spring performance. Please bring warm clothing and comfortable walking shoes, and be ready to sing and have fun!
Contact Jason at 845-831- 8780 ext. 317 for more information. Stony Kill Farm Environmental Education Center is owned and operated by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, and is located in Wappingers Falls, on state route 9D, about 2 miles north of the Beacon-Newburgh bridge (I- 84).
