Joan Denna

Joan Denna (Myatt Chiarieri) 60, of Kingston, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007. She was born May 18, 1946 in Cold Spring, the daughter of James Myatt and Jeannette Maddox Myatt Mazzuca.

Joan attended Haldane High School and was a resident of Cold Spring until she moved to Wappingers Falls in 1969. She attended Danbury Nursing School, worked as a Nurses Aide at Butterfield Memorial Hospital, and at IBM. She was a homemaker for many years and later worked for Montgomery Ward in Kingston, NY.

Joan is survived by her father James Myatt of Cold Spring, her sister Jacqueline (Jackie) Myatt Gilligan, brother James (Jamie) Myatt, her four children, Kimberly Merritt and husband Stanley of Poughkeepsie, NY, James (Jim) Chiarieri and wife Jen of Hyde Park, NY, Mark Chiarieri and fiance Lauren Sealis of Highland, NY, Michael Chiarieri of Boston, MA, and three grandchildren, Stanley Merritt, and Sarah and Anna Chiarieri. Her mother Jeannette Maddox Myatt Mazzuca predeceased her.

Joan's remains will be cremated and interment will be in the Cold Spring Cemetery at a later date.
