Twenty-one Haldane Students Participate in Elementary All-County Music Festival
Twenty-one Haldane students participated in the Putnam County All-County Elementary Music Festival 2007 at George Fischer Middle School on March 3rd.
The All-County Chorus sang "Shalom to You My Friend", "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho", "The Fly-Away Horse" and "We Are the Young". The Haldane members include altos Claire Carroll, Maya Curto, Laura Gunder, Brigit O'Malley and Miranda Thompson. The sopranos were Caitriona Daly, Katherine Daponte, Laura Kearns, Tyler Mell, Elizabeth O'Malley and Cali Schweikhart.
The All-County Band played "Incantation and Ritual", "Swashbuckler's March", "Jamaica Jack" and "The Forge of Vulcan". Haldane All- County Band members included flutists Elizabeth Casparian and Carolyn Schaefer; clarinetists Thomas Califano and Claudia Percacciolo; trumpet players Kieran Austin, Kenny Doxey and Patrick Junjulus; trombonists Jack Miller and Stephen Zalys and Isabelle Jimenez on percussion.
