Summer Computer Institute at Dutchess Community
The Dutchess Community College Office of Community Services is offering several half day and full day programs for children and teens through the Summer Computer Institute. Daily class time will include both structured classes and open lab. Morning classes run from 9am to 12 noon, and afternoon classes from 1to 4pm. Full day classes run from 9am to 4pm. To assist working parents, students may be dropped off at 8:30am and must be picked up by 4:45pm. All courses are at the DCC main campus in Poughkeepsie. Courses include: Adventures in Computing for Students in third, fourth, and fifth Grades; Computer Academy for Students in grades six and above; Computer Hardware Architecture and Build A Computer, for students grade six and above and Professional Studio Production: Video and Audio, for sixth grade and up.
