Putnam County Land Trust Benefit Dinner Features Birds of Prey Demonstration
Another spectacular evening is planned for the Putnam County Land Trust's Annual Benefit Dinner on Saturday, April 28th. The event is to be held at the Starr Ridge Banquet and Conference Center at 38 Starr Ridge Road in Brewster.
The evening begins with a Cocktail hour at 5:30pm and the opportunity to see Birds of Prey from the Green Chimneys School as well as to browse a large silent auction known for its unusual and eclectic items. Bruce Eisenstein, guitarist, will entertain in the background with his melodious and engaging music.
After a delicious and sumptuous meal, Ivan and Laura Cohen will conduct a Live Auction in their own unique style. Past offerings include unique one-of-a-kind artwork and jewelry, wine baskets and much more. One of this year's features is accommodations for up to a family of 4 at Lake George.
Presentation of the Land Trust's Blue Heron Award to Cherie Ingraham and Rick Feuerman of the Chuckie Goodnight Foundation, the Leadership in Giving Award to Victor Grossman and the Land Trust's Stewardship Award will follow. Tickets are $50 per person.
