CORRECTIONS

In the PCN&R 3/21/07 edition article reporting on the Cold Spring Village Board meeting, we reported that the Village's Special Board that is working on a "comprehensive plan" would be approving a survey for residents at their next meeting - April 12. That is not correct. We also reported that residents would be able to sign up for volunteering on the six working groups at that meeting. That is not correct either. The Board will meet April 12 and encourages public attendance, but they will not be prepared for volunteers to sign up for any of the groups at that time. The two issues will be discussed at that meeting.

In last week's article about the Nelsonville Board meeting there were two errors. We reported that Marlene Bowman is the Village Historian - that is not correct. Her son, Michael Bowman, is. We also reported that Philipstown Ambulance was charging Philipstown $1.10 per thousand assessed value. That is not correct. The Ambulance does not charge the Town anything. What was said was that the CSFD charges the town that amount.
