Putnam Valley Student Named to Dean's List at Ithaca College
Gavin Cummings, son of Putnam Valley residents Susan and Patrick Cummings, was named to the Dean's List at Ithaca College for the fall 2006 term. Gavin is a senior majoring in business administration.
To qualify for Dean's List honors in the college's School of Business, students must attain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and complete a minimum of 15 credit hours, of which at least 12 are graded. A grade of D or F or an incomplete in a course automatically disqualifies a student from the Dean's List, regardless of the overall GPA attained that semester.
Coeducational and nonsectarian, Ithaca College is a nationally recognized independent college of some 6,100 undergraduates and 300 graduate students. Located in Ithaca, New York, the college offers more than 100 degree programs.
