Earth Day Celebration at Museum of Hudson Highlands
On Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22 from 11am until 3pm celebrate our planet with a weekend of earthly activities sponsored by Taylor Recycling. We only have one earth; learn how to protect it. Make crafts and origami frogs from recycled products, take a guided trail hike and explore the biodiversity of our earth by visiting live animals. Take part in an informative weekend at the Boulevard where you can learn more about Green living through Earth Day exhibits such as: Organic Gardening and Worm Composting, Resource Conservation, Energy Alternatives, Crafts for Kids, Free Coloring books.
There will also be a special presentation of "An Inconvenient Truth with a Conveniently Local Solution" presented by Shawn Dell Joyce, who writes a weekly column called "Sustainable Living" for the Times Herald Record in Orange County, on Sunday, April 22 at 2:30pm in the Ogden Gallery at the Boulevard. Ms. Dell Joyce has recently been trained by the Climate Project in Nashville, TN and Al Gore to give his slide presentation about global warming.
