Holy Week and Easter Observed at St. Philip's Church in the Highlands
St. Philip's Church in the Highlands will celebrate Easter with the following schedule:
-Thursday, April 5, Holy Thursday: 7:30pm Holy Communion in the Church, candlelight service with Stripping of the Altar;
-Friday, April 6, Good Friday: 7:30pm in the Church, Requiem by John Rutter, St. Philip's Church Choir in concert with The Mount St. Mary's College Choir and the Hudson Valley Chamber Ensemble, Soloists-Diane Thomas & Julie Heckert;
-Sunday, April 8, Easter Sunday: 8am Holy Communion, 10:30am - Festival Service, Holy Communion and Sermon with Special Music, selections by Handel & Gilbert Martin. The St. Philip's Junior Choir will be singing. There will be an egg hunt in the Churchyard after the 10:30 service.
