Hudson River Extravaganza at Howland Public Library
Educators from the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater will be presenting a "Hudson River Extravaganza" at the Howland Public Library, 313 Main Street, on April 24 at 6:15pm.
Live fish and macroinvertebrates will be displayed at a variety of learning stations for children and adults to rotate through to learn more about the aquatic creatures of the Hudson River. This free program is part of the Library's Earth Day Celebration. Registration is required. Call 831- 1134 to register or register online,

The non-profit organization Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, based in Poughkeepsie and founded in 1966 by environmental activist and legendary folk singer/ musician Pete Seeger, was created to defend and restore the Hudson River, one of the great and historic rivers of this nation.
