Mahopac and Putnam Valley SeniorNets Schedule Free Computer Classes
Calendars in Mahopac and Putnam Valley should have the following dates noted for these upcoming SeniorNet Seminars and Registrations. By attending one of these free seminars in either Mahopac or Putnam Valley senior citizens can learn what SeniorNet is, how joining it can make powerful changes in lifestyles, hobbies, and outlook, and what the upcoming courses will cover. If you are thinking of taking a course or enhancing your computer knowledge, attending a seminar can help with your decision as to where to begin.
At the William Koehler SeniorNet Center on Route 6, in Mahopac on, May 16, 2007, the SeniorNet Seminar will be held from 9am-12noon. The Putnam Valley Seminar, at 117 Town Park Lane, Putnam Valley on May 17, 2007 will also be held from 9am to 12 noon. In both seminars course descriptions will be presented and computer questions will be welcomed.
Registrations for taking SeniorNet computer courses are as follows: May 23, 2007, from 9am to 12 noon at the Mahopac Center, and May 31, 2007, from 9am to 12 noon at the Putnam Valley Center. Courses given will be Computer Fundamentals, Introduction to Word Processing, Intermediate Word Processing, Internet and Email Basics and Advanced Internet and Email. In Mahopac only, Advanced Word Processing, Customizing Windows, and a Digital Camera course will be offered.
The Mahopac Center also offers extra help and free practice hours to SeniorNet students, and a SeniorNet Instructor is available for help. All the classes have only six students at a time with two students per each coach, plus an instructor.
