Celebrate Earth Day 2007 with The Beacon Sloop Club & Clearwater at the Beacon Waterfront

The Beacon Sloop Club and Hudson River Sloop Clearwater will celebrate Earth Day Saturday April 21st with a festival at the Beacon Waterfront. The sloop Clearwater will be open to the public for tours and sails. The sloop will cast off from the Beacon Dock, at 10am. Please reserve your spot for the Earth Day morning sail on the Clearwater by calling 845-454- 7673 x 107.

The BSC and Clearwater will display environmental exhibits - tanks of river fish, microscopic views of river life and more. Vendors with food, crafts and music will be on going from 1-5pm at the Beacon Riverfront. Performers include The Younger Sister Band, Michelle Marcus, Dan Einbender, Victoria Raabin, Ingrid Heldt, Mark McNutt and Ed Sikora.

There will also be a children's area setup. Hoops by Judy

There is no admission charge to attend the festival. The Beacon Sloop Club is a all volunteer, non-profit organization.
