Earth 911 Kids Walking for a Cleaner Environment
Dear Editor:
We are a group of Haldane Elementary Students who have formed an organization called Earth 911. We wish to inform you of an action we've organized that is happening on April 14, 2007. It is taking place from 2-4pm, starting at the Butterfield Library on Morris Avenue and ending at the Cold Spring Gazebo.
You may have already heard about an action of holding hands across the Bear Mountain Bridge taking place on the same date, for the same purpose (telling Congress to cut carbon 80% by 2050). For more info go to

We have coordinated these events so people can first attend the Bear Mountain event, then come to ours. Hope to see you at the Library!
