Cold Spring's Bart Dellarmi Honored by National Academy of Arts & Sciences
Bart Dellarmi, a resident of Cold Spring for the past eleven years, was honored by the National Academy of Arts and Sciences during the 50th Annual New York Emmy Celebration on Sunday, April 1, 2007.
Bart and his reporter, Antoinette Biordi received this Emmy for their outstanding works on the two-part series entitled More than Just a Game which aired last summer on Channel 12. This piece points to the courage and determination of the competitors in the Special Olympics. During their acceptance speech, Bart and Antoinette paid tribute to the true "winners" - the children and their parents who face up hill battles each and every day.
