Billy's Way - the Right Way
Dear Editor:
In this paper on April 11, Mr. Cusick of Philipstown wrote a letter to the editor concerning the environmental implications of the neighborhood, Billy's Way. It is because of all of our concerned citizenry that we are able to adhere to and maintain the healthy and productive life status of our communities. So firstly, I appreciate societal concern. However, it is when misdirected, unethical and potentially illegal practices are employed that we, the same citizenry, must respond.
The safety and well-being of our communities is the responsibility of all at every level of legislation and oversight. The Department of Environmental Conservation has cleared and provided direct oversight throughout the development of the neighborhood "Billy's Way". This certification status is on file and available for public review.
