Figure It: Family Math Night at PV Elementary
An evening of mathematical activities that will help expand your child's appreciation of mathematics and maybe answer the question: "Why is my child's math homework, not like the homework I remember?" will be presented on Friday, April 20, from 6:30- 8:30pm in the cafeteria and new gym.
Grades K-5 students and their families are welcomed to participate in Math Games, Activities, and Challenges for the student and the family which will expand one's understanding appreciation of mathematics. There will also be take home activities to permit the family to continue to explore the world of mathematics, and resources: books from the library and book store.
This event is sponsored by the ES Teachers, the PTA, and the PVCSD Math Department and facilitated by members of Mu Alpha Theta, the PVHS High School Math Honor Society.
