Verplanck Garden Club Holds Annual Pre-Mothers Day Plant Sale at Stony Kill
Looking for an inexpensive way to add plants to your garden or a unique gift for mom? Mark your calenders for the Verplanck Garden Club*s annual plant sale on Saturday, May 12, from 9am until 12pm at Stony Kill Farm Environmental Education Center on Route 9D in Wappingers Falls, 2 miles mile north of I-84.
Come early to get the best selection of perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetables, shrubs and planters. In addition to a large variety of plants the club members are available to answer your gardening questions. You may find that special perennial that your mom needs to fill that empty space in her flowerbed. Come early to join a Stony Kill naturalist for our *Spring in Bloom* program at 9am. Stony Kill Farm Environmental Education Center is operated by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and is located on Route 9D in Wappingers Falls Take exit 11 off of I-84 and proceed north.
