"Are You OK?" Checking in On Service for Seniors to be Expanded
"Are You OK?"-a service for senior citizens, disabled persons and shut-ins who live alone or anyone in Putnam County who needs to be checked on daily-is extending its outreach through collaboration with the Home Care Departments of both Putnam Hospital Center and the Putnam County Health Department.
A greater number of people will now be made aware of the confidential computerized telephone calling system, operated by the Putnam County Sheriffs Office, through distribution of informational brochures and registration cards and one-onone explanations of the service to patients of the two home health care agencies.
Working out the details, from left to right, are Putnam Hospital Center Long Term Home Care Coordinator Demetria Paonessa, Putnam County Home Care Supervisor Eileen Pezzo, Putnam County Sheriff Don Smith, Putnam County Associate Commissioner of Health and Director of Patient Services Loretta Molinari, Putnam Hospital Center Home Care Director of Patient Services Alice Montini, Putnam County Sheriffs Department Chief Investigator Gerry Schramek, and Putnam County Public Health Program Supervisor Kathy Percacciolo.
