Whither Fishkill Road
To the Editor:
Now, after many years of waiting, the Methodist Meeting House located on Fishkill Road and long deemed an eyesore and health hazard was removed.
In place we have the makings of a new "land fill" site. Philipstown has endured the problem of Fishkill Road for over ten years when the money was made available to the County to re-align the road to correct its dangerous intersection with Route 9.
May we in Philipstown now know a date certain when the County will perform the work necessary which it indeed promised, to complete this job, before our "land fill" becomes a town dump, decorated with discarded tires, refrigerators and washing machines?
