P.L.A.Y. Announces Girls Lacrosse and for Boys in Grades 1&2

Beginning on Sunday April 29, the Philipstown Lacrosse Association for Youth, Inc. (P.L.A.Y.) is beginning lacrosse for two groups not yet playing in the spring; girls in grades 2- 8 and boys in grades 1&2. No experience necessary!

The sessions will be held simultaneously on opposite ends of the Garrison School field. The sessions are held from 2-3:30pm on Sunday afternoons through mid-June. The only exceptions will be the weekend of June 2-3. On that weekend, the lacrosse sessions will be held on Saturday.

If the numbers turn up, the girls will be placed into groups separated by grade. The male contingent in grades 1&2 are a non-travel group that will meet at the same scheduled time as the girls, 2-3:pm. The boys will be running through a non-contact skills version of lacrosse.

P.L.A.Y. is not affiliated with the Recreation department and requires that you register thirty minutes prior to the session at the field.ach player needs their own lacrosse stick. For advice and contact information go to the web site highlanderlacrosse. com.
