Putnam County Master Gardener's Holding Annual Plant Sale
The Putnam County Master Gardeners will be holding their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 19, 2007, from 8:30am to 1pm at their new location at the Tilly Foster Farm, Rte. 312, Brewster, (West of 1-84, East of Rte.6)
The Master Gardener Plant Sale has a reputation as the best sale of the Spring for both the casual gardener and the discriminating collector.
In addition to the usual annuals, perennials and herbs, they are continuing their selection of native plants, heirloom vegetables and the very unusual. A unique feature of the sale is the Putnam Proven Plants that are special treasures dug from Master Gardeners' own gardens.
Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer any gardening questions, give planting instructions and advice, and provide free pH-soil tests to anyone bringing a dry soil sample.
