Community Service Award to be Presented to 2007 High School Graduate by Philipstown Democratic Club

The Philipstown Democratic Club will present its annual Community Service Award to a 2007 Philipstown high school graduate in recognition of his/ her; community volunteer service. Our volunteer youth are the cadre of our future volunteer effort and success.

Club President Betty Budney said, "Our unending thanks and support must go out to the countless community members who faithfully give their time, energy, talent and /resources in their volunteer service throughout Philipstown. They are the life blood of our Philipstown community."

Any high school student, graduating in the Class of 2007, who is a resident of Philipstown, is eligible to apply for the Community Service Award. Anonymous judging will be conducted by the Award Committee.

Application forms are available at the local high school Guidance Offices. For those graduating from private Lourdes or other private schools please contact Club President Betty Budney. Forms must be completed and returned to the Philipstown Democratic Club, PO Box 6, Cold Spring, NY 10516, by Friday, June 1, 2007.
