Galef Hosts Senior Forum
State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef will host a public forum on senior issues with guest speakers to include Michael Burgess, the new Director of the New York State Office for the Aging, on May 10, 9 to noon, Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor.
Topics to be discussed include long-term care, the state's EPIC drug program, Medicare's drug plans, and reverse mortgages as a way to remain at home while aging. Other panel members include Betty Duggan of the Medicare Rights Center and Roberto Nascimento of Consumer Equity Mortgages.
