Isn't It Time To Stop This Ongoing Crime?
Dear Editor:
Billions of Americans' tax dollars still fund the illegal Iraq war with no end in sight due to Bush's veto. Bush's reckless spending and disregard for human life has caused many broken families long-time suffering due to his wrong decisions. Several Bush appointees were determined unqualified or guilty of fraud and other crimes.
Critical funding has been cut for education and healthcare, among others. The middleclass has been experiencing the repercussions of Bush's overspending.
There never was a "mission accomplished. This 5-yr. war has lasted longer than WWII!
Bush rushed into war, ignoring warnings. He opened a Pandora's Box by illegally invading a sovereign country of no threat to us - without a plan. He lied to Americans about his real reason for his Iraq attack. The Downing St. memo proves it.
We were hoodwinked! - No proof of WMDs were found.
Our elected officials should be doing the bidding of the majority. Illegal-war funding for more slaughter is unthinkable.
Bush has had new laws created and others amended with loopholes that give him "Big Brother" privileges to make his crimes legal and give him power over all.
Impeachment proceedings should begin now. Power to the People.
