Response to "Radical Left Diatribe" To the Editor:
Where have you been, Joan Mercado? I read the Letters to the Editor every week hoping to read one of your Hate America, Hate Bush, Stalinist, radical left diatribes. Last week you did not disappoint me!
Let's talk facts (something you seem oblivious to). The Iraq war is not illegal. Regime change in Iraq was put in place by B.J. Clinton, not Bush. The Congress and the United Nations voted for it.
No funding for education or healthcare has been cut. In fact, they have increased.
If you think Islamic Nazis and Jihadists are not a threat to us, get ready to wear a burkha or have your head cut off.
Clinton also stated there were WMD's in Iraq. Did he lie to us also?
What slaughter are you talking about? The killing of civilians by women and children with bombs strapped to them for a promise of paradise? By the way, if men get 72 virgins for being martyred, what do the women get? I've heard 72 studs, but that doesn't seem correct. You are so well informed, perhaps you can advise me.
The war has lasted 5 years because of support for the enemy from within this country.
I will close with "Peace that does not satisfy God's will to see evil rooted out, is not true peace."
Please give my regards to Jane Fonda.
