Putnam County Domestic Violence Awareness Walk Planned for Cold Spring

People Against Domestic Violence (PADV) will be sponsoring a 5-Mile Awareness Walk on Saturday, June 2 in the Village of Cold Spring. The event will begin at 12 noon on the lawn of St. Mary's Church on the corner of Route 9D and Main Street. There is a $20 suggested donation and/or sponsors requested. A t-shirt will be provided at registration beginning at 11:30am.

Immediately following the Awareness Walk, the Break Me Silence March will begin at 3pm also on the lawn of St. Mary's Church. The organization will march down Main Street to the Gazebo with Knights of Columbus Against Domestic Violence (KADV) and the Cold Spring Fire Department Pipes and Drums.

Personal stories will be shared and light refreshments will be provided. PADV invites everyone to bring their family and friends and to join them in support of ending domestic violence.
