"The 2007 Clearwater Festival seeks to reconnect communities with the Hudson River. We want people to once again appreciate the beauty of the river, the importance of limiting shore development that obscure the view, as well as continuing our efforts to protect our environment," says Ron Aja, Outreach Events Director, who reports that advance ticket sales are at record levels this year.
Waterfront activities available throughout the weekend include boating, canoeing, and kayaking, as well as tours and sails on board traditional tall ships, including the Sloop Clearwater.
