Thousands of Children and Parents Attend Kids' Day at Putnam Hospital Center
Thousands of area children and their parents came out to enjoy the recent Second Annual Kids' Day at Putnam Hospital Center, which featured health and safety exhibits and demonstrations interspersed with kids' crafts, games and children's vendors. Presented by the PHC Auxiliary and sponsored by Hannafords Supermarkets, the event was designed to make learning about health and safety a fun event which the whole family could enjoy. Above, Kiwi the Clown, aka PHC registered dietitian Theresa George, is shown demonstrating portion distortion and healthy eating to some of the children who attended the free event.
