The Neville Brothers in 4th Annual Red Carpet Benefit Fundraising Concert for

The Paramount Center for the Arts is pleased to announce its Fourth Annual Red Carpet Benefit Fundraising Concert on Saturday, June 30th at 8pm, with The Neville Brothers.

The evening will help support the Paramount's continued presentation and production of diverse, high-quality programming in live performance, arts-in-education, visual arts, and film, serving the varied needs and interests of the diverse communities of Westchester and Putnam Counties and the mid-Hudson Valley region.

Performing together since 1977, the Grammy-award winning New Orleans-natives The Neville Brothers (brothers Aaron, Art, Charles, and Cyril) have thrived on the explosive fusion of diversity and unity. Their eclectic blend of New Orlean's R&B, funk, rock and blues, has produced landmark achievements like Fiyo on the Bayou and Yellow Moon, a lasting body of work proudly cultivated from the fertile fields of New Orleans. Joined by Aaron's son Ivan, their new album Walkin in the Shadow of Life revives the trademark Neville Brothers sound.

The Paramount will host a pre-concert champagne reception and post-concert reception for donors at the Lifestyle Center at Chapel Hill in Peekskill. At the Red Carpet pre-show reception, the Paramount will honor John Federspeil, President of the Hudson Valley Hospital Center, for his support of the arts and commitment to the community. The Paramount will also present its inaugural "Founders Award" to former Peekskill Mayor Frances and Edward Gibbs, who have both made lasting contributions to the Paramount through their nearly thirty years of volunteer service.

The evening's festivities will also include a pre-show street party at 6:30pm on Brown Street, directly in front of the Paramount, with live performances by the Peekskill Brass Band and the Kazi Oliver Drummers and Dancers, which will be free and open to the public.

Tickets to the event are $65- $90 and can be purchased by calling (914) 739-2333 or online at paramountcenter.org

The historic Paramount Center for the Arts continues to make great strides. From the elaborately restored ceiling design and the ornately painted theatre columns, to the elegant concession counter and renovated lobby area, the theatre is now widely regarded as one of the region's brightest architectural jewels.
