Dental Care Focus of Putnam Hospital Center's Diabetes Support Group
The next meeting of Putnam Hospital Center's free Diabetes Support & Education Group will be held on Tuesday, June 12, at 6 pm, in the ground floor café classrooms at the hospital, located at 670 Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel.
"Sink Your Teeth into This" will be presented by dentist Mark Sawycky, DDS, who will discuss why people with diabetes need to be concerned about good dental care and how to prevent dental complications of diabetes. Family and friends are welcome to attend meetings of the free Diabetes Support & Education Group, which is designed to teach individuals how to keep their diabetes under control and to live a healthier life. The meetings provide participants with an opportunity to hear from knowledgeable professionals and to network with others who have diabetes.
